In 2004 I joined a medical device company as an office administrator & internal event coordinator; shortly after I caught a wave in IT administration and end user support. While learning about networking, backup/restore administration, identify & application management, I also learned the people that made our purpose come to life. I  became familiar with their jobs so I could see/understand their needs. I was filling the gaps for others long before this, but 2004 marks the beginning of my corporate adventures. Fast forward to 2025, I’ve come to realize that (for me), life/work balance = life & work meshed together like (most) infrastructure networks. I am the sum of my experiences and my Epic Last Corporate Adventure will be a blend of my innate talents, learned skills, diverse experiences, and proven resilience.

My technology & business services are centered on holistic practices of application implementation/engineering, security, compliance, end user support & customer services/experience.

From medical device, to a business law firm (while earning my masters in business continuity & risk management), to consulting as a systems administration & disaster recovery specialist, I met a lot of interesting people, fixed a lot of systems, and learned the importance of intersecting people, process, and tools.

 

From 5 to 6,000 to 100,000k and 20+ years, the foundation of 'people process tools’ remains my mantra, and security is a mindset and way of doing.

My journey to date spans 9 different industries, 8 firms and over a dozen different tech centric roles. Each one was a lesson and aided in building my toolbox. I enjoy pulling from all my past experiences and I’ve become the connective tissue for teams, applications & senior leadership.
